When twelve-year-old Jonah Parrish, witty, curious, and always one step away from trouble, discovers a trove of magical artifacts in his late grandfather’s basement, he stumbles into a legacy he never saw coming; Grandpa Charles was part of a secret society whose mission was to find these enchanted objects and relocate them to safe and secure places.

Circumstances arise where Jonah, his best friend, Shane Quinn, and siblings, Dalton and Aubrey Ramos, are tasked with their own assignment to keep the artifacts away from a group of cold-blooded individuals, made up of spies and mercenaries, called the Hunters.

When high school freshmen, Liam Doherty and Bryce Nicholls, find themselves relentlessly bullied by their classmates who spread humiliating rumors and socially alienate them, the two form a bond built on shared anger and loneliness.

Feeling invisible to the adults around them, the friends begin documenting every slight, every betrayal, and every rationalization into a journal of grievances which gradually transforms into a disturbing philosophy that convinces them revenge is the only way to reclaim control over their lives.
